Ingredients

  • 3 cups cold water

  • 1 cup rolled oats - you can toast them as well but let it cool first

  • 1 pinch kosher salt

Optional ingredients - you can add any or all

  • 2 -3 tablespoons shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweetened )

  • 1 tablespoon good quality honey, or maple syrup

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger

Instructions

  • Not to cook the ingredients from the high friction during mixing, place the oat and water to the freezer for half an hour - seperately

  • Add all of the ingredients to your high power blender, and blend on high for 20 seconds. Stop and shake it, and blend for another 20 seconds. Do not blend longer, otherwise will get warm and turn slimy (that's how you use the high power blenders to make rice bread!)

  • Using strainer lined with cheesecloth strain the milk (use the pulp to have a meal) and save it in fridge

  • Shake it before using.
